This Privacy Policy explains how TREZ Miner and related websites (“we,” “us,” “our”) handle information when you use our software, site, and services. We aim to collect the minimum necessary data and keep control in your hands.

1. What We (Generally) Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet files.
  • We do not monitor your personal transactions beyond what’s publicly visible on the blockchain.
  • We do not sell personal information.

2. Information We May Collect

  • Basic Usage Data (App): optional telemetry such as app version, OS type, non-identifying performance stats (hash rate averages, error codes). Telemetry is off by default unless you opt in within settings.
  • Website Analytics: standard logs (IP address, user-agent, referrer, pages viewed) for security and performance. We do not build behavioral profiles.
  • Support Communications: if you email us, we receive your email address and the message content to respond to your request.

3. Cookies & Local Storage (Website)

  • We may use strictly necessary cookies for security, session continuity, or preferences (e.g., dark mode).
  • No third-party ad tracking cookies are used.

4. Wallets, Keys & On-Chain Activity

  • Your keys never leave your device through the app. You are responsible for securing backups.
  • Mining claims, transfers, and rewards are settled on-chain and are publicly visible by design of the Solana blockchain.

5. Mining Telemetry (Optional)

  • If enabled, we may receive non-identifying mining metrics (e.g., average solve time, job success/failure counts) to improve reliability.
  • Telemetry never includes private keys, seed phrases, or raw wallet files.
  • You can disable telemetry at any time in settings; previously sent data will remain in historical logs until routinely purged (see Retention).

6. How We Use Information

  • Operations: run the website, deliver updates, maintain security and performance.
  • Support: respond to inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
  • Improvement: aggregate, de-identified analytics to enhance stability and user experience.

7. Sharing & Disclosure

  • No sale of personal data.
  • Service Providers: hosting, analytics, or security vendors may process limited data under contractual confidentiality.
  • Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of our services.

8. Data Retention

  • Server logs are typically retained for a short operational window (e.g., 30–90 days) unless needed for security investigations.
  • Support emails are retained as long as necessary to resolve and document the issue.
  • Aggregated analytics may be stored longer without personal identifiers.

9. Security

  • We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the data we handle.
  • No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; protect your device and wallet backups at all times.

10. Your Choices & Rights

  • Telemetry: keep it off (default) or turn it on/off anytime.
  • Do Not Track: we do not use third-party ad tracking; DNT signals may not be recognized uniformly across services.
  • Access/Deletion (where applicable): if you have provided contact info (e.g., support email), you may request access or deletion by contacting us.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International Users

By using our services, you acknowledge that data may be processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your country.

13. Third-Party Links & Services

Our software or site may link to third-party services (e.g., RPC providers, explorers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; review them independently.
